Reflections
Reflection is the fourth R in education. It offers a profound change in the way learners develop during school and into adulthood.
This section offers resources for schools to help students to practice and develop reflective capacities.
Using Reflection with Children
Guided reflections are part of a learner’s story that is told through their imagination. As they learn to become immersed in reflection, they become active agents in imagining and visualising a better reality.
It rests on the platform of the human right everyone has to a safe space, establishing safety from the inside. It creates extraordinary states of connections, which is reassuring and comforting. It develops learners’ inner and outer harmony which leads to optimistic thoughts and actions.
